If the trailer you are towing has a 7-Way but does not have electric brakes, reverse lights, or require 12 volt power then I wonder why it has a 7-Way on it unless it is just for a battery. But to add a 7-Way to your 2006 Nissan Pathfinder you can use the adapter # C57674. Your 4-Way will plug in to the 4-Way end on the adapter. You are correct about the white wire on the adpater. It sounds like you need the RoadMaster 6-Wire Trailer Connector # RM-910030-7. This will allow you to cut off the ends of the 4 way and splice them into the connector so your tow vehicle and toad can connect via the 7 way to 6 way cord # BX88206 you mentioned.

Even though you do ride over bumpy roads part of the time I would still stick with radial tires if they're available in the size you need. Bias tires are generally better for off-road conditions but the radials can handle some bumps in the road too. And the advantages of a radial tire on the highway will have a great impact over the bias on rough roads.
